Footnote 513

The entry reads: "To Alis, widow of the deceased Raulin Moriau, hostess of the 'Ane Rayé', for the expenses made at her inn by the father of the Maiden, who was in the King's company when he was anointed in this town of Rheims..." (For the original language, see: Quicherat's "Procès...", Vol V, p. 266).

A plaque on the inn's successor, 'La Maison Rouge", said that both her father and mother stayed there during the coronation. (see: Quicherat's "Procès...", Vol V, p. 266, footnote 1).
